During my time at PSUB, I focused on modernizing how we engaged with students and built a digital presence that actually reflected campus life. The organization had relied heavily on Facebook and in-person promotion, but our visibility was fading fast as student attention shifted to newer platforms.

I led several key initiatives to change that. I designed a clean, flexible “Events At A Glance” template — used weekly and monthly — that helped bring visual consistency to our communications. I reorganized our Instagram with new Story Highlights to make it easier to browse upcoming events, and I spearheaded our expansion to TikTok, helping the org show up where students already were. We didn’t just repurpose flyers — we adapted content natively for each platform.

This work paid off. Our Instagram following grew from 3,000 to over 8,000. Event promos became more recognizable and easy to share. I also experimented with video content in different ad styles — from motion graphics to more casual edits. Some hit over 20,000 views within days; others flopped. But each one helped me learn how timing, format, and style affect reach and resonance.

It wasn’t just about likes — it was about rebuilding trust with students that PSUB’s events were worth showing up to. And by modernizing how we communicated, we helped bring that energy back.
