Improving student life at Purdue during COVID by increasing event awareness.

During my tenure at the Purdue Student Union Board (PSUB), I undertook several projects aimed at enhancing our engagement with the student community and modernizing our digital presence. Projects included: designing the weekly and monthly “Events At A Glance” template, added Instagram Story Highlights, and revamped our social media strategy to include TikTok.


These strategies broadened our reach beyond traditional platforms like Facebook. These efforts significantly boosted our engagement and helped in establishing a more dynamic and interactive online presence. PSUB's follower count on Instagram went from 3,000 to over 8,000. I also got the chance to experiment with designing video advertisements in different styles. Some gained over 20,000 views in days and others only got hundreds.
