Amalgam started with a question: Why do most sales tools feel like they’re built for managers, not reps? I wanted to change that — not by giving people more dashboards, but by helping them have better conversations.
Amalgam is a dynamic, script-based sales platform I designed to help reps at Angi close more deals with less friction. The idea was simple: most objections are predictable, but the responses shouldn’t be robotic. So I created a system that adjusts in real time, surfacing talking points based on how a conversation unfolds. If a prospect hesitates, changes tone, or throws a curveball, the tool helps the rep respond with clarity — not canned lines.
I designed the entire product — from the call logging structure to the flow of dynamic responses — and built out key UI components with Lovable.dev. The platform includes tools for reps, managers, and directors:
Reps get guided scripts that adapt without breaking flow.
Managers can monitor objection trends and individual performance.
Directors can spot training gaps and understand what’s working at scale.
I also created Amalgam to be modular and lightweight — something you could have open during a live call without it feeling clunky or distracting. It’s there when you need it. Quiet when you don’t.
Amalgam is still evolving, but its purpose is clear: make sales tools that feel like teammates, not trackers. And give reps the confidence to lead the conversation, not read from a sheet.
